WTKK host Michael Graham arrested

and some folks who aren't too fond of Howie (or Callahan...or Eagan...) may have gotten a slight charge out
of seeing a Herald headline talking about a Herald columnist and radio host being arrested!

I don't know what the penalty is here, but in some states they really throw the book at you for driving on an expired license. Something I thought about last Sept. when I was scheduled to go the the DMV.

Does it make sense to cuff and tow for a paperwork violation? The only good thing is, his kids weren't there to see this nonsense.

He also ran a red light. How absolutely selfish.
Spin spin spin, Graham uses the incident to go on a tirade about big government, overlooking how he put everyone else's life in danger.

It was 5:30 in the morning. Even on Route 9 in Framingham, there isn't that much traffic at that time of day. If it had been even an hour later, I'd agree with you

Um....so....if it's sometime overnight and there no cars around, it's ok to not stop at a red light if you don't feel like it?

oh, and reaction to the fact he was arrested? BUWAHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

No, I didn't say it was ok not to stop at a red light.

I was referencing the previous comment about "putting everyone else's life in danger". It was 5:30 am so I doubt there was much traffic at that point even on Route 9 in Framingham; therefore, there weren't many lives in danger.

Spin spin spin. I bet you think traffic lights must be part of big government's conspiracy to control the masses. It doesn't really matter what time it was...cities do adjust lights in low volume intersections overnight to blinking red versus full red signals. This wasn't one of them. And had a car gone through the green light ( for which they had a right of way) the accident could have been deadly. Selfish on Grahams' part.

Temple Street intersection on Route 9 could be a tricky spot. Time of day or week is irrelevant. Even if he was doing a U-eee and checking for on-coming traffic on 9, there could've been vehicles coming from the rotary ramp or Temple Street. Cops trap there all the time. He probably just moved into the neighborhood and wasn't aware about constant traffic monitoring by cops in that area.

McPhee filled in for Graham this morning while he was at court for his hearing. Graham called into his show right after the 9am news as his hearing was about to take place. I never heard if there was an outcome.

Mauzy Stafford was doing the morning newsbreaks today. At the 9am newsbreak (which is the only one I heard), she referred to Michelle as 'Michelle McVee". :D
