WTKK pulls working version of new site, for now, but...

Whether or not the release of the new WTKK page was an accident or intentional, it's gone now (simply
says "WTKK" now) but someone on SaveWRKO.com said that it was up this morning and it said
"On air now Howie Carr 6-10 am" (as it surely will once the show launches)...and someone else on
that site reports that Eddie Andelman ended his show on Sunday by asking listeners to tune to 96.9
on Thu from 5:30-9 am...

BRW says WTKK is now airing promos for Howie--er, without actually mentioning his name as he's
still Entercom's employee till the end of tomorrow. I don't know if they're referring to the vague
promo I heard last night during Phil Hendrie: "If you think something special is coming to Boston
radio...you're right. WTKK" That could actually be just a generic promo for the station ("The Talk
Radio Evolution" as the "new logo" said) and when it comes to Howie, well he's already ON Boston
radio. Just not on FM. Yet.

>>Carr’s new station WTKK 96.9FM has begun airing a promo of his upcoming debut on Thursday. Although you don’t hear Carr’s name mentioned in this spot(as he’s still WRKO’s employee thru tomorrow), those who have followed his very public two-month saga to extricate himself from the chains and shackles of WRKO’s contract get the message. As of today, WTKK’s owner Greater Media has not made an official statement about Carr’s arrival to FM Talker.

Shows, left to right, Graham, Eagan, Braude, Severin, O'Reilly, and Ingraham.
On the left side of the page under Personalities it lists them (plus Phil Hendrie and Michelle McPhee).
No Barnicle.
By the way they were hoping to start this campaign off with a Howie show this morning, but the
new nickname "Boston's Talk Evolution" is being used in place of "96.9 FM Talk". When mentioning
the name of the station they now say "96.9 WTKK" not "96.9 FM Talk". Hopefully people know by now
that 96.9 is on FM. (The Globe of course doesn't know the difference; even recently when they
said Howie was a host on "WRKO-FM")
They're playing a promo using "Revolution" :"Don't you know it's gonna BE/Great talk" etc
The new site will be up soon and eventually Howie will be up there on it. Unless he just can't be pulled
away from Entercom...
