WTKK's convention coverage

Honestly, I thought it was gonna be abysmal and incredibly one-sided, but overall, I think they've done a decent job. Other's thoughts?

Well, I haven't exactly listened closely, but I've seen this gem from Michelle McPhee's show quoted on the web:

The last time he [Obama] had a crowd this big, he blew his nose. And it was nasty, folks. What's he going to do this time? Is there going to be flatulence on the stage? And are people going to cheer?

WTKK kept it live and local 7-midnight, with Philly import Huggy doing 10-mid. in place of
13-hour-delayed Laura Ingraham (one hour of Laura did air live at midnight). The same sched
will take place starting Mon night with the RNC.
WBZ had Dan Rea with discussion while WRKO either had the Sox or a mixture of syndie (Savage/Doyle;
Drudge sidekick Andrew Breitbart filled in for the tape-delayed show last night) and some live content
from Fox and ABC News (back with ABC affiliation...? I thought they were Fox only)

In a short Severino listen I heard him describe Mrs.Palin as a "little girl." Not very nice. But with a pretty deep bench for McCain to select from, to pander to the religious right was kind of a pathetic. Proving Jay can sometimes see clearly when the occasion calls for it.

I listened to that new team on the weekend and they were decent...it's kind of a Hannity/Colmes sort of show...not as intelligent, but definitely fun. Also, I was surprised how much of Michael Graham I was able to tolerate at last week's DNC. I thought he was pretty fair most of the time.
