WTKS Changes

Anyone notice how new PD Jack spends so much time promoting "Classic Rock" nights and weekends ... Phillips left early on Friday and it got worse. All the push to win a ZZ-Top guitar ... on a talk radio stations seems abit out of scope. I occasionally flip around in the evenings, and now on 104.1 I hear extended promo's for WJJR The Rock Station and pleas to listen to the Fiasco in the Mornings. Got to believe Real Radio's demise is imminent.

Agreed. I'm still surprised hot talk lasted as long as it did here, especially in this over urban'ed, over espanol'ed market. Classic Rock 24/7 would make sense, as would moving WFLA over to 104.1.

Wow - Tuesday morning at 6:22am, 104.1-WTKS plays a promo for Pat Lynch and Taco Bob on 101.1 WJRR. You'd think Russ might have a bit of an issue with that?

104.1 used to be something unique to listen to. I feel the music they played back in the day was also unique and cutting edge. I can't stand listening to the station now a days. It's funny, I sometimes hear a promo on WFLA calling WTKS liberal smut talk radio lol. I would have to agree with it. I don't find any substance listening to 104.1 anymore.

That's ironic considering they're both CC.
