yes, let's bash "another Clear Channel station off the air"....folks, sometimes stations HAVE to go off the air...again, it was tower painting....safety of the tower painters supercedes everything....

I see that sort of things a lot around the different boards. A station gets hit by lightning or goes off for the reason you describe and it's posted on this board as if it's impending doom (but, as you said, usually just the chance to cheap-shot somebody).

Pretty pathetic.

Man, how disappointing. I thought maybe The Gator
was going to be taking over those stations. I had
my hopes dashed, again.

Thanks 'Cat for ruining what could have been a
great radio dream come true! :)
