WTMG Midday Mamacita is leaving

Urban WTMG ( Magic 101.3 )/Gainesville FL Midday personality Alexandra Marie aka The Midday Mamacita is leaving WTMG. Her last day will be August 7th when she wraps up with a live broadcast from Universal Studios Orlando. Magic 101.3 PD Russ Allen is looking for next Magic 101.3 middayer.

This station is pretty decent. I always catch it riding down I-75 when driving to Miami.

Meanwhile the urban station (Blazin' 102.7) in the other popular college town in Florida (Tallahassee) is sounds increasingly Urban AC! New voicing, and very common to hear 3 R&B songs back to back. The station completely avoids all rhythmic crossover product -- which is very popular right now. Why Cumulus made these changes when they already operate an Urban AC is beyond me. It's what happens when there's no competition!
