wtn new guy in midday

i'm sure jake (board op) was their first choice but he probaly wanted a bump in his hourly pay.

I heard him while passing through today. He blew me away. Sounds like a real pro...and a state capital city in middays is exactly where he needs to be.

If I were the N/T station over here in Memphis (or Knoxville) I'd be wanting him statewide.

Michael is a GREAT guy. Everyone at WTN likes him a lot. Expect him to be a monster in the ratings. Great show, great talent.

I agree, I've enjoyed the times I've listened in. He's a talented host, and I predict he'll soon become the star of WTN, overshadowing Bristol, Valentine, and even Ramsey. Now, as soon as Jim Rome comes on, I've begun flipping my office radio over to DelGiorno.

I don't know what Rome's numbers are in Nashville

but he doesn't seem like a good fit in this market. My opinion.

D Dean may be onto something. Take a look at this website from Delgiorno's days in Tulsa, OK:

Check out this post. This guy drives in one gear - Hate. Rosie O'Donnell does the same thing on the other side of the fence. The thing with driving in the "hate" gear is that your career's "transmission" burns out fast:

I've listened to Delgiorno on the radio here, and I've met him a couple of times in radio circles since he arrived. So far I've heard opinions and beliefs from him, but I have yet to hear hate. After reviewing the website posts to which you provided links, it seems much more like the authors of these pieces are the "haters."
