Today. They've picked it up mainly for Paul Harvey. Clear channel made a deal to carry Fox News on all of its news/talk outlets, so WLAC had to drop ABC / Paul Harvey. A big loss for WLAC, a coup for WWTN. The question is, will they carry Paul's "15 minute" "noontime" show during Phil or will Phil end at 12:45?

So does WSM-AM also carry ABC or will they carry CBS. They (along with 104.5 at times) were carrying Fox news.

Finally a reason to listen to Steve Gill. Maybe they should carry Paul Harveys 15 minute report at noon and give Phil a short break. Why they haven't yet swapped Valentine and Lidde is beyond me.

Good, maybe we can finally hear the last 15 minutes of Glenn Beck every day!

Notice that WWTN is using a different ABC network from the one WLAC is using. Not sure if that will change once Paul Harvey moves over to 'TN in a few weeks.

Gotta wonder if 'TN has its eyes on Hannity, too.

Can someone explain the coup. WLAC gets a network listeners prefer, WTN picks up a network listeners see as liberal, Paul Harvey hasn't moved the ratings meter in years and the only people who care about Harvey are slowly dying off. Not to mention Harvey's days being numbered.

Hannity...'TN doesn't have a chance.

Even if they had their eyes on Hannity, LAC just inked a new contract to keep him. Not gonna happen.....

WSM-AM still carried Fox News as of Friday.

Paul Harvey will move to WWTN in a few weeks.

Mr. Harvey has been, and still is, a listener draw and moneymaker for local stations. He remains a "box office" name that's easy to sell to advertisers. And everyone's days "are numbered."

If WLAC has re-signed Hannity, fine. That just means I'll have to keep tuned elsewhere besides WLAC and WWTN in afternoon drive.
