WTNH-DT off the air?

I'm in New Britain and there's something I have to ask for the New Year's Eve celebrations last night: is WTNH-DT (ABC) channel 10 on the air? Right before midnight, I did an antenna scan and got absolutely nothing. I put the cable line back on and did a digital tuner scan. No WTNH-DT on 88-3 with my QAM tuner either. For reference, WCTX-DT (MY) channel 39 still popped up. (NOTE: I have a good line of sight to Madmere Mountain in Hamden and usually have no problem with WTNH-DT or WCTX-DT.)

P.S. Please don't tell me that Comcast can't retransmit them anymore. I know that's the case with COX Communications in areas like Newington and what not.

I have never been able to pull in WCTX-DT (and WCTX analog is a nasty mess, I only get it via cable, and I don't have digital cable)

I wasn't getting WTNH-DT the other night either, but I had a good 69% signal which is usaully enough to work, it was black on both HD-1 and HD-2.

I've been experimenting with various antennas and configurations and have 4 different antennas coupled into a combiner and then sent to a 10dB amp, I'm using the Accurian converter that radio scrap used to sell.

I do have some adjustability, but right now, I tend to leave it alone as I'm getting the most signals at once that I can get without having to constantly adjust things.

Hey, everyone else does this, so why not I? here's a channel chart...

Callsign/average signal level/SNR
WFSB 86 29.4dB
WTNH 62 16.5dB
WUVN 85 28.7dB
WTXX 77 24.3dB
WWLP 48 17.1dB - not strong enoughy to decode, has been strong enough in other positions
WEDH 0 N/A - Not on the air yet, but I'm sure it'll be quite strong here
WHPX 47 16.2dB - comes in easily even at 22%
WVIT 88 29.9dB
WGGB 49 17.2dB - not strong enough to decode, has been strong enough in other positions
WEDN? 31 17.4dB - have yet to catch this one, not strong enough to resolve
WGBY 9 16.9dB - have yet to catch this one, not strong enough to resolve
WCTX 9 16.6dB - have yet to catch this one, not strong enough to resolve
WTIC 90 31.5dB
others that sometimes will take a while for the scan to pass include DT 6, 9, 45, 63

and analog:
3 WFSB - are they ever going to do anything with 33-3? (hey, get the funimation channel!)
8 WTNH - 10-2 is now the same programming at a lower resolution as 10-1, no more weather?
9 WMUR - only on a good DX night
10 WJAR - only on a good DX night
15 WVIT - actually scanlocks on this harmonic
18 WUVN
19 WCDC - very weak, never any audio
20 WTXX
21 WLIW - only on a good DX night
22 WWLP
24 WEDH
25 WFXT - only on a good DX night
26 WHPX
27 WUNI - only on a good DX night
30 WVIT
38 WHCT
40 WGGB
45 WVIT - another harmonic
47 WUTH - very weak
48 WRNT - Fair to good
50 WRDM - Fair to good, stl down? still a never-ending test pattern
53 WEDN - Fair
56 WLVI - only on a good DX night
57 WGBY - Fair, will come in better in a different position
59 WCTX - strong noisy signal, good thing I have cable
61 WTIC
67 WSHM - weak, no sound, does come in fair on a good night
