It started around awhile ago with a few new graphics, now is seems teh've updated their graphics and news imaging music as well. Of course, they still have staff who can't pronounce certain words to save their backside.

Ken said:The 8 looks a little different. Also with the 8 logo the word channel goes away for a while and wtnh.com comes up, this goes back and fourth. Im surprised they went with blue as Channel 3 has blue. Guess 8 needed to be a copy cat.
I noticed this too, but if you think about it, they're promoting their broadcast "channel", and when that graphic goes away, they're promoting their website "wtnh.com" which just goes to show you the line is beginning to blur between TV and the internet.Ken said:The 8 looks a little different. NewsChannel 8 has been using blue and silver/white since they switched from the ActionNews brand in the 90s! This updated color scheme is actually a return to what they originally had when the new NewsChannel 8 debuted. Channel 3 has only been using these colors for a few years now. If I had more time, I'd dig up some old screen shots to show you.Ken said:Im surprised they went with blue as Channel 3 has blue. Guess 8 needed to be a copy cat.
