Northwest Jersey WTOC/1360 Newton, NJ to Cease Operations

Today, Centro Biblico of NJ, Inc. filed a silent STA for WTOC Newton, NJ.
In their filing the stated that they plan to cancel the license.

Relevant quote from the filing:
Our long-term plan is to file a License Cancellation Request by the end of February 2026.
The station has become a significant financial burden on our company, and we have made the
business decision to redirect those resources into other, more productive areas of our operations.

An unfortunate outcome for what was once WNNJ(AM). I believe that Clear Channel donated the station away several years ago.
 
Well with WNJC gone for a few years now, 1360 is totally open now in NJ. A shame really. But hardly unexpected these days I guess.
