WTOE Celebrates 55th Anniversary December 24th

I just wanted to alert the board that one of Western North Carolina's first radio stations in a smaller town celebrated its 55th anniversary December 24. WTOE has a tribute page on its site with information from the first day of operation, along with photos of those early pioneers of broadcasting in Spruce Pine:
