WTOP dropping The Weather Channel

Sunday is the last day for The Weather Channel on WTOP. Starting Monday, Doug Hill and his team will be providing all the weather support for WTOP. This is the third station in the area that the Weather Channel has lost in the past couple of weeks...the other two being WGMS, and in Baltimore, WCBM.

It'll be interesting to see how this works when severe weather hits the area.

The meteorologists I know laugh at the "Weather Channel" forecasts on WTOP. THey are considerably worse than the TV product.
