What's up with WTPI? I just heard Julie Patterson talking to a caller about how much Julie was going to be missed.

That was sure a short stint.

Any more news on a format change? Could it be days/hours away?
 
Probably months away.

Yeah man, word has it, they are flipping to an all Reggae and Soca Format tonight, at the Stroke of Midnight. The new station name will be (ISLAND 108)-(Naptowns Tropical Beat)
 
Sooner than later? Maybe?

After all, don't most changes happen on the first day of a new book - Thursday?

Uhhh...new diaries are filled out from Thursday through Wednesday. That's why everyone does their big contests on Thursday....Uhhhh...that's what I was talking about.

Julie is not staying on due to the fact that she is still working at WISH, and trying to juggle that along with afternoon drive. Just not working out. Best to Julie in all she does. She is a class act.

Is Indian War Chants a stunting thing or are you just being sarcastic given the recent Polka experience on 95.9?

I think we are all just being Silly, trying to think of possible format holes, when Indy doesnt really have any, unless they try FULL SIGNAL Oldies, Urban, or Dance...And I think we can rule out the last one. IM pretty sure it wont be HURBAN, given Indys small latino race

it is..........continuous lite rock except when switch to continuous christmas
oldies for a while

IF TPI Goes Christmas you can write in a format Change

If WTPI flips to all christmas music between now and Christmas day full time. I say we will se a new format either December 26 or after the first of 2006. They ain't gonna stay the 2nd ranked lite rock station for anything. What they flip to who know. Probly depends on what happens over at 93.9 when the sell goes through there.

I gotta say, I really like the Tropical 108 idea. It's new, fresh, and will last about as long as the Jack, Mike, Peter, Paul, Linc, etc format.

Are you saying then they'll go AC Christian? That would be interesting.
Entercom have any other C. Christian stations?

Im Not Saying TPI will go CCM im just calling if they go All Christmas Music you can write in the long awaited Format change that was origianlly rumoured on May 1 that Hank squashed
