New Rock 93.3 has been off since last night. Noticed around 6pm it started coming and going while people were talking. No carrier now, just static. Any idea what happened? Weather?

Wow, that didn't take long.

The message was explaining that the winter storm "wrecked havoc" on their transmitter site in NC and they would be back on asap. And they are.

back during the 93.3 WBBO days (early 90's) we would sometimes be off for days during bad snowstorms/power outages.

not comforting to be told by the PD "just put a CD on repeat & go home...it's gonna be awhile"
