WTQR apologizes for Roper?

This is worse than Murphy. They create some b.s. that he did something wrong, which is supposed to get people talking and make him look like some "rebel" or "maverick" (oops). Nothing happened and if something did, they'd never acknowledge it like this.

I just heard this in the car. I figured it was a stunt. Can you say desperation? I've tried to listen to them in the morning. I listen for about 30 minutes because I like the Jimmy Carter segment. Then it's back to the Wolf for me.
 
OMG!! What did he do?? Somebody please tell me everything 'cause I'm soooo worried about it based on everything I haven't heard about a DJ I don't know and don't care anything about. Please tell me about it. Of course, all the TV stations will be covering this all week, right?? Yaaawwwwwwwwnnnnn. Thanks Romper. Back to sleep.

Dang ALLCAPS DOES feel like you're really yelling. I just hope he didn't get on a school bus full of chirrens, especially with his criminal record. Plus he doesn't sound like they would think he graduated yet, and might try and keep him in elementary education for more 'training.'

What a business model this fake apology thing is becoming. Whoever [email protected] is, they should be ashamed.
 
Well, the most satisfying part is that this is the only place in the whole metro it's being discussed. Listeners don't give a hot shite.
 
You are correct! Everybody knows Mr. Roper from Three's Company; but not this other guy.

We get a few comments a day at GreensboroSports.Com about missing Aunt Eloise - an article Andy Durham wrote weeks ago. We rarely cover the media on the website; yet it's one of the more searched for terms.

Man alive, if a station is saying/doing that, it says more about their station than they want it to say.
 
Geez, sounds like this guy Roper took all of your gigs, and girlfriends.. :) Doesn't sound like any of you could be impartial if you tried. Out of curiousity (and please forgive me for not continuing the downpour of hatered for this guy) but I remember hearing he was solid when he was on in Charlotte... Were his rating descent?? (in charlotte)??
