WTQR on TV again

M

MaskMan

Guest
Just saw a couple of WTQR bookends on WTWB or whatever it is now. This commercial was focused on their music which is what they should have been doing instead of running those Aunt Eloise spots. At least CC is going to fight the Wolf. Frankly, I hope they win this battle and I'm no CC fan. I ran into yet another business owner today who told me how obnoxious his Wolf Rep is. Honestly, I hear this ALL the time and it's never solicited. Either it's one person who is just very unprofessional or they have several there like that. I never hear this about WTQR reps. Also, it seems The Wolf is giving away their inventory on the street....a bad thing for all radio in this market. I actually heard about them selling their prime inventory for fifty-something a spot! That's pathetic for a station with their ratings!

tick tock tick tock tick tock..the wolf is on the clock.won't be long til they're gone. after all.....wolves ARE endangered species.

Now this is interesting....

Stay with me now.

Does anybody think that Maskman and powerdown are BOTH Bob Campbell????

Come on! I Love this bidniss!!

I thought Manwhore was Bob Campbell. Why would Bob care about 2 country stations?

Anybody but me notice that the TQR spots still begin with "I 'aint as good as I once was..."

How true!

You know, it is really hard to get agencies to buy two deep in country. Only way around it is to cut the rate. Entercom, IMHO, made a major business mistake with this change.
