WTRI

I think I read somewhere equipment issues again. The 'Radio Asia' simulcast didn't seem to last long (like every other format the last 5 years). No STA on FCC's website, hmm.

Someone on DCRTV reported WTRI was on yesterday. Not sure with what or for how long, probably just keeping the license alive.

Old thread and long silent station revival; WTRI has applied for an STA to run 1 KW into one tower claiming the station needs work to get back to full power.

To WTRI's credit the station is on, with intended audio, more often than not now. Haven't heard a peep from their approved Frederick translator at 105.5.

Well WTRI's FM translator has applied to move to western Loudoun County, VA at 102.1 with a highly directional 250 watt signal to the east covering the Leesburg area. 1520 for the most part is on the air, with programming, more than not.
