WTRY should go 60's 70's & 80's

I have listened to CBSFM online and the music mix is just great. That being said, Since local oldies station here in Albany NY WTRY has a burned out 60s & 70s format that needs to be updated already. They should go the same route as CBSFM with the music and turn to The Capitol Region's Greatest Hits Of The 60's 70's & 80's. I know this is a different radio market than New York but it would still be a lot better than what they play now. And maybe dump the current promo guy and get Ziggie Pelzer to do all the promo's for them. As for 98.3HD2, dump the Jazz stuff already and make that a 50s and 60s or a classic dance channel, something that people want to hear. If you noticed a lot of Clear Channels 60s and 70s stations around the country are now heading in the direction of the 60s, 70s and 80s and WTRY NEEDS to be one of them doing that too. Whenever i'm away from my computer, and have to listen to local stations WTRY is a big turnoff right now.

Gotchya!!!!!

Speaking of trends over at CC, they're bringing back the hot new style of dead segues between songs and spots. It also creates more open ad time to sell. It's genius, but they need to think more outside of the box. You gotta get em without them knowing you're doing it.
