WTSA am/fm, Brattleboro to move back to Putney Road

Locally owned WTSA is moving back to its old neighborhood.
The radio station plans to move this fall to the old Roller Drome building on Putney Road, next to the Marina Restaurant, according to general manager Bill Corbeil.

The move will coincide with the station's switch to a digital signal and with a change in ownership.

I assume this is in or near downtown? I'm usually in the north end by I-91 Exit 3. with the access into Chesterfield, NH.
 
If I read your question correctly, you are asking where on Putney Road WTSA will be relocating?
The Roller Drome is on route 5 (aka: The Putney Road) about half-way between exits 2 & 3 of I-91...right near where the iron bridge crosses the West River. The Roller Drome also hosted sock hops in the 50's with top acts of the day appearing there including(I believe) Danny and the Juniors among others.

have been to B'boro a few times and I think I do remember them being in a small bldg on
Putney Rd (US 5). Suppose you've left downtown B'boro
and are heading north on Putney Rd. You go by a tourist info center on the left and then go over a bridge
(boat tours nearby and a restaurant that I think is called the Marina). Between there and a shopping center
(also on the left) was a small building where WTSA used to be.
 
Sorry to dissapoint you, but we as a community have a lot more going for us that an old kook from out of town
who wanted to show off his willie. The resurgence in the arts community, with a monthly gallary walk, the New England Youth theater, and more are reason enough to be here. That's why , with a brief break, I've been on the air in this town since I was 16, and I've raised children and grandchildren here. I challenge you to know the Brattleboro that I do, one with aq tremendous capacity for giving, one who , for the most part, lets you be.
 
Well most people only have heard of 'boro from that :) And that's great about the arts scene, etc.
And nothing like the salad bar/steaks at The Steak Out for that matter ;D
 
Congrats to Bill Corbeil. A class act who will do wonderful things for radio in B
 
What happened to John Clark, long time morning guy? Heard he hasn't been on air for a few weeks now.

Not sure what happened to the morning guy, he's still on the website. I'm told the sale did go through though. They're apparently almost into their new home on Putney Road, looks nice too by the pics on their website.

I remember thinking the same thing when I first saw that logo. From what I understand, no major format changes are planned. The FM will stay Hot AC and the AM will stay with ESPN as "1450 The Ticket". In fact, a couple months after the "covered bridge" logo was introduced, an AM only logo started popping up in newspaper ads.
