WTVF

WTVF, owned by Scripps, is part of the current programming dispute with Comcast

That means it's not available to local cable TV subscribers. The subscribers are upset about it:

Honestly, if they're so upset, don't know why people simply don't rely on antennas for local channels (and better HD quality) than put up with these (increasing) messes. Can't tell you how many times friends have come over to watch my OTA for sports when they've been locked out of their CATV, SATV and streaming access to local channels.

I am in the Nashville DMA, but can't pick up much with an antenna. WSMV does have a translator in Algood. I assume I could pick it up here in Overton county. The others, not likely.

Are you equidistant to the Knoxville DMA?
Pretty close to it. A little closer to Nashville. Fentress county to our east is in the Knoxville DMA. AFAIK, cable in Overton County never carried Knoxville TV, but cable in Fentress County did have some Nashville channels.

I would like to see more OTA translators, but I guess the math doesn't work.
