I wonder what is the future of the in house news operation of wtxf 29 in Philly in light of the ratings , money, etc. ? Will they cease news operations at 4th and market and outsource the news via another TV station in town or will they keep going ?

The future is NOT shutting down their (so-called) news operation and outsourcing (to whom, anyway?). Of course they're going to keep on going. How is that even a question?
Oh for crying out loud....this is as silly as the 1210 stuff. What is really going on? They don't have any plans to add something new. That is not the same as portending a change. Period.
I hope to god that changes do occur at FOX 29, because their newscasts and on-air talent are horrible and the ratings show it. They will never reach the heights of 6 and 10. Those 2 stations are just too powerful and are more successful and been around a lot longer than 29.
