WTXF-DT reception issues?

My parents in Manayunk just got a new LCD HDTV. I was temporarily hooking them up with OTA HD channels (via bunny ears), until they eventually upgrade their DirecTV service.

Big problem: No matter how much I screwed around with the antennae on Saturday afternoon, 29-1 (DT-42) was nowhere to be found.

Any ideas here? Was 29-1 just off the air, or is Manayunk a bad location for reception of that particular channel?

Kind of sucks I wasn't able to get 29, but I got all 8,000 of WGTW's subchannels!! TBN en Espanol, anyone? :p

I have issues of less than 50% strength, line of sight from Wyndmoor.

It's not. I'm reasonably sure that WTXF-DT isn't at full power. Most days I get 20% off of them, then on rare occasions (tests, perhaps?) they'll be up around 70%.

In central NJ, I get KYW and WPVI at 100%, WGTW at 92% and WTXF at 80%. That's pretty bad when a station, who's picture quality is one step above local cable access has a stronger signal than a network affiliate.
