On a promo for Sunday night's news, the new O&O theme was used, but come news time, everything stayed the same. Also, they're using the hell out of the myfoxphilly.com logo and in a promo for a simpsons theme week this week, i noticed that ony the myfox logo was present at the end. Is it killing anyone else as much as it is me? when the HELL are they switching over? Is it being held up for some reason? Waiting on the new set? Just a rant. Info and opinions welcome.
 
WNYW switched on their 5PM newscast on a Monday (I think), so expect the same there.
 
I get annoyed when any company tries to shove their website down my throat, FOX 29 is certainly guilty of that.
WTXF's impending logo change and new news set is the worst kept secret in Philly TV. If it's taking this long to renovate and build the set it better be worthy of what FOX did at their stations in NY and Boston, the most impressive sets I've ever seen. I get the feeling that it won't be worth the wait. Kudos to 'TXF for making the transition to HD before 3 and 10.
 
I saw the set and graphics in New York and Washington - they were almost identical.
Makes me wonder if Fox is going to pull a Sinclair.
