WTXX now officially using "TXX" Brand on-air

Since the beginning of September CW20.COM has forwarded to WTXX.COM and has featured their new logo. Today WTXX began using the new "TXX "logo as their on-air bug. Up until yesterday they were still using the CW 20 bug, but began using the "TXX" logo in promos last week.

At first I didn't like them dropping "20" from the logo. But, the new logo is definitely refreshing and it has grown on me since I first saw it on their website in August. So I agree, I like it too.

If they aired any local children's programming, maybe they could bring back their old kids mascot, T.X.!

Its being reported on the New York TV board that Tribune will do the same thing with WPIX now, and restore the circle 11 logo and the WPIX branding.

You know? It's too bad Tribune couldn't hold off on selling WLVI, because then we would be looking forward to the 56 Box logo comming back. Istead? It's just a satellite of WHDH 7...
