WTYB--what's up?

Has anyone been listening to WTYB 103.9 in the last hour or so? I listened to it for nearly 40 minutes and all I heard was junk. It was as though all their Christmas music was skipping/dragging mixed in with the station switching from stereo to mono and back.

What gives? Is this planned to grab attention or are there truly mechanical problems? No offense, but my high school students could do more with this station than they are. They should just sell it to us. :)
______________

Yes...I think there were truly mechanical "problems". They were probably messing around with the equipment in preparations for the new format. Rob (saveng) could give you a better answer. If Rob knows anything about it, let us know. Enquiring minds want to know!

Unfortunately they are truly technical or mechanical, but we are working on it.
______________
