WUCO Night Power

Is WUCO running micro power ND at night now because of problems with their directional system? They usually come in real well, almost like a local in NW Columbus at night, but last night they could barely be heard, and I could hear 58 watt WXGO from Madison, IN better than WUCO at times.

The latest on WUCO is that they received another STA to operate the station with 125 watts of power into their Nighttime Antenna array until Jan 23, 2009. A copy
of that FCC letter is here:

It seems like it is taking WUCO forever to fix this problem. Their Daytime antenna array hasn't been in operation for over 18 months.

Also, mayby some station you heard on 1270 was operating with Daytime power
at night. What format is WXGO from Madison, IN?? I was hearing a pretty strong music station on 1270 last night. They were playing soul oldies music and normal
they aren't heard on the channel here in Columbus. That may explain why you weren't hearing WUCO last night.
