WUFC calls for 1510

That did come to mind but this has nothing to do with NBC or "sports". I was almost going to observe that if you scramble UFC you could get most of a certain swear word :D

can someone please tell me, (US) why does this station has (Religious) programming on their station around Midnight?
When, earlier I heard one of their station id said "24/7 sports"??
why?
Thank you for your time

We’re Unbelievably F(lippin’) Crazed”! ;D

It's an exaggeration about the 24/7 sports. They figure most people don't know about the brokered religious programming, which gets them some $$$. They're not gonna say that they have
only 21 hours or whatever.

You mean, like most people didn't know about the sports programming when they were a progressive talk station? ::)

OBKB. Thank you very much.

Seems to me the calls WUFC don't easily lend themselves to rolling off the tounge or being easily remembered. Besides...after all the years 1510 has been WWZN...you might think there would be some residual value or name recognition associated with them that would make them worth keeping.

Like the rest of you...the reason for this change escapes me.

They're running some NFL through Dial Global, etc. Last Sun and this Sun a 1 pm game.

A couple times WEEI ran a game through Dial Global's Mon night package and Sports Hub
had same game through Compass media or something (involving Cowboys, etc.) One time
EEI had a Sox game and had to JIP (join in progress) the Mon night football while 98.5
had the entire game.

Of course when Pats are on MNF, EEI can't carry the national broadscast to protect 98.5/Pats network

Not to put too fine a point on it, but most people didn't know they were a radio station then, or now, for that matter.

Half of the signals in the Boston market exist solely in the minds of get-a-lifers on the radio/TV geek boards.

TSB

Former calls of 1510--Fybush noted one more change and they will equal the record set by 1150.
