WUFL (93.1 FM) Adopts Christmas Format, Challenges WNIC

The nationwide Family Life Radio feed has adopted a Christmas music format, with a majority being traditional Christmas music, meaning not limited to Contemporary Christian content.

The Detroit affiliate, 93.1 FM is along for the ride and provides an alternative to WNIC which, with the exception of WOMC trying to compete once and 98.7 competing for part of one season during its short stint as an AC, has had the field to itself.

Not a lot of marketing attached to this, but I suspect they'll make it known on some digital billboards. Hard to say if this will dent WNIC's dominance in this regard.
