New owner is JW Broadcasting
Jackson TV station WUFX-Channel 35 has been sold to JW Broadcasting by Mississippi Television, it was announced this week.
WUFX is part of My Network, which airs programming developed by Fox. As part of the purchase agreement, JW Broadcasting will provide sales and other services to WUFX’s sister stations: WDBD-Channel 40, the Fox affiliate, and the independent station WXMS-Channel 27.
Tucson, Ariz.-based JW Broadcasting has begun management of all three TV stations, while waiting for the Federal Communications Commission to approve the sale of WUFX.
