Based on the way Time Warner (and FiOS) have been pretty open to carrying subchannels in Syracuse, I would assume this would also be welcomed.

Right now, WSYR has HD on 68.1 and a 4:3 feed on 68.2.

On a side note, TW in Syracuse recently sent out a letter to subscribers saying that certain channels (Oxygen and Style, for now) would only be accessible to customers with a two-way capable digital cable box or device equipped with a two-way Cable Card as of approx April 20. Looks like they're finally moving ahead with the technology where certain channels are only sent down the line when customers are watching; otherwise, the bandwidth is freed up for other uses. I wonder how long until ALL channels are this way. (And if Style and Oxygen are the first two because they're the least-viewed, why not just get rid of them?)
 
WUHF DT2 is scheduled to be added to channel 530 on Time Warner Cable around August 28th so it looks like the channel is getting ready to launch
