Jack Hardy passed away last Friday.
WUMB's Sunday short tribute may have been well-intentioned but certainly ring hollow.
In 2009 at the Clarendon Hill Presbyterian Church I presented Jack as a co-feature with David Massengill. The concert was submitted to the WUMB calendar as "The Folk Brothers: Jack Hardy and David Massengill". Because Jack had been purged the prior month from the WUMB playlist (confirmed in an email exchange with its general manager), following their insane "listed artists only" policy, WUMB changed the calendar listing to read "David Massengill and more".

Rest in peace, Jack.
