WUNI-DT

Has this station had a weaker (or non-existent at times) signal for the last week? I read on this board that WUNI-DT is going to make changes to their transmitter so might they be off for that reason? Also has WMFP-DT become more directional or weaker lately?

WUNI-DT went back on the air yesterday afternoon (July 12) with what appears to be a more powerful signal. But WMFP-DT still seems to be on lower power.

I'm now getting WUNI-DT fairly consistently in Somerville, where it was barely coming in, if at all, before. WMFP-DT is strong where I am.

Here's one that's going to be a kick in the pants for a lot of people, I'm in Middletown, CT., and I'm getting WUNI this morning, it's the first catch I've ever gotten outside of the normal range of Hartford/New Haven/Springfield/New London. However, it's also a kick in the pants for me as I now know that the two digital boxes I use are unequal.

The box that did this is the Zenith DTT900, and I'm going to post a DX report in a few minutes as I'm thinking this is not going to be like this for much longer.
