UGA's student station, WUOG, has been fined $7,000 for failure to file a license renewal and unauthorized operation for about a year.

Remember, they entered the license application into the system, but failed to click the final submit button. Then they had no contact with the FCC for a year after it was due. I'm sort of sympathetic because of the lack of feedback from the FCC, but that's what happens when you aren't paying close attention to legal compliance.
