If it were from Illinois, it's not likely from the Chicago area as most stations in the non-commercial band are under 100 watts. The only stations in the Chicago area more than that are 89.7 WONU Kankakee, IL (35kw); 90.1 WMBI-FM (grandfathered 100kw blowtorch) 90.9 WDBC Glen Ellyn, IL (5kw), 91.5 WBEZ (50kw equivalent), 91.9 WJCH (50kw)(I believe the calls are correct) Joliet, IL. Those are the only stations I can think of that are high powered, and the 89.7 that was getting clobbered could have been by WONU as it's a christian station operated by Oliviet Nazarine University.
