For anyone interested, I'll be talking about my book, MILWAUKEE TELEVISION HISTORY: THE ANALOG YEARS, on WUWM's "Lake Effect" Thursday morning. The show airs at 10:00 a.m. and repeats at 11:00 p.m. It's also available for download online the day it airs.

I've been informed that the book will receive the Gambrinus Prize from the Milwaukee County Historical Society. Named for the god of brewing, the Gambrinus Prize is awarded each year for the best book-length contribution to Milwaukee historiography. I'll accept it at the society's annual awards dinner next month.
