WVBA winners-who dey?

I was again fortunate to attend the WVBA Awards Dinner last night. Taking notes is not a strong suit, so I'm appealing to others that went to recollect both radio and TV winners on the board.

Also, I propose a new award category: "Outstanding Mentor Stations of High School Radio Stations." I hereby nominate SEVEN RANGES RADIO, which owns 93R (WRRR), 92.3 WXCR and WVVV (V96.9), and constantly makes time to mentor us and bring us back from the dead. Recently, TomT has installed a new STL receiver and graciously loaned us a STL transmitter until our new one arrived. I've lost track of the times SEVEN RANGES showed true community spirit by aiding us, and we will forever be in their debt. This includes not only TomT, but also Sam Yoho, general manager and co-owner, and Scott Northcraft, Operations Manager. Without these gentlemen, we would have been toast long ago.

Surely a radio group should be recognized in tangible ways for their ongoing support! An award from the WVBA would be a fitting first start.
