He went to WMMS, at some point later in the '70s, after WVBF became more of a Top 40 station, and Top 40 in general, became much more disco heavy. He started as one of the original VBF jocks, in 1971, when the station, was outstanding.
It was a high energy Top 40/AOR hybrid by day, and essentially progressive rock, at night. Unfortunately, I read on the Cleveland board, a couple of years ago, that BLF is out of radio, and working at Kmart these days...WVBF's predecessor on 105.7-WKOX-FM was a pretty decent station too. It was a live Top
40 station, with a very broad play list....They were around from January, 1969, until the switch to WVBF, in July, 1971...
