I am impressed with how these co-owned stations are managing to extend their reach.
WVIP 93.5 carries WVOX on HD2, oldies station The Breeze on HD3, and Radio Korea on HD4. The Breeze and Radio Korea are rebroadcast on translators in Queens and Long Island.
The FCC authorized construction of a translator in Alpine NJ to rebroadcast WVOX. This is a considerable distance from the small AM's home base of New Rochelle NY. There is also an attempt to move a translator from Greenwich CT to New Rochelle, which would also rebroadcast WVOX. Though the FCC just denied that move, a new application has been filed, with a modified signal pattern.

Also Radio KOREA is reobradcast on 87.7 fm
