WVIT Adding More News On The Weekends

WVIT plans to start the Saturday and Sunday morning newscasts at 5:30 am, a half hour early on Saturday and a hour early on Sunday. 30 also plans on a new I-Team to cover the market.
(im sure NBC CT won't call it I-Team as WFSB uses the name I-Team)

It's amazing. Twenty years ago, WVIT didn't even sign on the air under 6:30 or 7 AM on weekends.
