WVIV/WVIX question

Will the presentation of the new format be in Spanish, Spanglish or English? I listened to Viva for the past hour and the DJs and callers keep changing their conversation from Spanish to English and back and they are using 80s English songs from Joan Jett & The Cure as music beds. My guess since HUrban is a mix of both English and Spanish, it'll probably be Spanglish. It seems like all the liners have been removed except for the TOH. All I am hearing is songs crossfading into each other, into commercials without liners and the DJs. My Spanish is far from good, but I can make out somewhat of what they're saying. The English parts help.<P ID="signature">______________

Spanish and Spanglish. Like Kalle in NY and SF and other markets.

I'm sorry, what language is that? Ingles para los Inalphabetos.

"Analfabetos"

Spanglish is spoken by every bilingual I know. In this case, I use the purest defintion of a bilingual as a person who thinks in both English and Spanish, according to the moment, and can flip back and forth even in a single sentence, all the while picking the best and most appropriate words and expressions.

True bilingual seem to identify each other easily, and speaking Spaniglish is a priveledge given those who are so bilingual they can do it. Paricularly, there are many opportunities for humorous plays on words when using Spanglish... humor a monolingual could not understand.

I'm just messing with you, we all speak some sort of Spanglish. It is humorous, like "me estas bullshetiando!"
