wvko columbus I can't believe it

I can't believe the BAD audio on WVKO am and fm. The am is distorted, was off the air for almost 2 hours this morning some type of VOIP connection I think. The FM has only the right channel with the same bad quality, worse, no highs.

I can't believe the FCC can let this kind of audio trash on the air. I don't think they care anymore.

Been like this for years. License should be pulled and opened up for someone a little more competent.

I've done a little "fill in" engineering over the years and some of the stations were a far cry from cutting edge, but I'd sure as hell never sign off on a maintenance log for either of these two POS excuses for a radio station. If the Boys from Detroit were actually out here doing field inspections, they'd have pulled the plug on both stations a long time ago.

Well, I hope your right. As I understand things now, you don't have to have a first class around, and you don't even have to do proffs anymore. Whoops, don't get me started. You'd love my thoughts on IBOC>

F.Y.I. There's been at least one petition to deny on both out there for some time, citing audio/engineering/compliance among MANY other issues.
