Gainesville/Ocala WVLG gets Radio Ink.

As the article says, the average age of a resident of The Villages is 65 - I would bet it is even higher than that. One of the largest concentrations of seniors anywhere in the country so it is a unique market to say the least, and fits very well for AM radio. Don't forget that they also have two strong FM translators - one south and one north - that cover the area like a blanket. Having said that, the stations are VERY well run and are very local, and are well promoted with live events and lots of advertising in their local paper.
