WVLG

I'm gonna get the spelling of this guy's name waaay off.
what happend to the DJ Ron Denis Dashinay that used to be on WVLG from 11P-5AM playing "Music thru the night?" this music for those who dont know is a mix of Standards/Smoozh Jazz/B/Easy Listening/Soft vocals. Now all i hear is music, promos by Ed Nutin, and of corse Fox News at the top of the hour No jock presents.
While we're on WVLG, what happend to Robert W. Night?
He used to be on from 7P-11PM playing 50's-70's Oldies before WVLG moved up in the deckaids including the 80's in the library.
I also liked the older TOH from a few years ago (with the train wissel) better than the one they run now. the other TOH they used to run had the chimes and it didn't mix with the music in the TOH, at all.

Let me know if you have any info. I was just up there 2 weeks ago and taped one of those overnight thingies; haven't listened yet.

I see on cflradio.net that WVLG was sold in 2011. I suppose that explains the junking of the MOR/standards on WVLG. The overnight show is/was the last connection to it.

cd

The music is the same, but there's no jock presents, as you'll hear.
They didn't totaly can the airstaff as robert w. Nutin is still there. Johnny O does remotes more now, he used to do more on-air work.
I have yet to see a post from anybody working there on these boards. I know they use computers for on-the-air stuff (As they've mentioned that they do on-air), so its not that they dont use puters
The Villages doesn't own WVLG anymore? who owns them now?
MOR/Standards is what you'd call that CD? cool thanks. I've never known how to describe that format.
Let me know if you hear a lot of dead air at the top of h the hour with fox news starting really late after some dead air, with the camersials and music playing over top of Fox news? automation screw up, i'm sure.
