As much as WKOK relies on The Daily Item for stories, they do credit the newspaper. I've never heard them claim a DI story as their own.
It should be noted that WGRC also takes stories from local newspapers, even more so than WKOK. Look at their news page on any given day, and you'll find stories credited to the Centre Daily Times, the Pottsville Republican, the Press Enterprise, etc.
