WVLZ/ WKCE changes

A Soft AC format is definitely something we don't have, but your right about the signal. It seems like something that would need a strong signal inside buildings. However Chattanooga does have a Soft AC on a translator. I believe it's called Easy 106.9.

WVLZ is also being broadcast on 101.5 as of today. No mention of it in legal Id though.

dont have to do it every hour. translators only have to be ID's aurally 3 times a day.. you can FSK, frequency shift key them which is inaudible to the human ear by shifting the carrier, you dont have to audibly ID the translator if you FSK it

Which I imagine is getting wiped out by WQUT almost everywhere

Pretty much. Are they still at 5 watts or did they finally upgrade? I was getting signal near the airport before WQUT took over heading into Maryville. 97.1 sounds good in Maryville for being 27 watts.
