WVNA Rocks!

Man, I gotta give mad props to WVNA-FM for tweaking the tired 'ol moldie oldie rock format and adding more recent titles from STP, Pearl Jam, Lenny Kravitz, etc......from the 90's and early 00's. I even heard a "new music" lead in the other day (can't remember the group or song). They sound tight these days.

On the AM side, WVNA-AM also has got a cool thing going with the "Shoals only" format.

All this helps to add some 'citement to an otherwise bland and stale NW Alabama radio market.

so it's confirmed!
it sounds alot like WXFX in montgomery to me, I have always liked WVNA since the day i found them going under the name The V-100.3, after the move to 105.5 it only comes in over here in Madison county at night after WYTM 105.5 in Fayetteville TN goess off for the night. Glad they kept it on the classic side mostly rather than going all modern (but did they have to go as far as recent Green day? ugh)<P ID="signature">______________

Good for you. I wish I could pick up something modern rock like that at home, especially now that all I ever hear at work is oldies and country. It drives me crazy have to listen to that stuff.
