I believe WVOZ-FM 107.7 was the first offical Reggaeton station in Puerto Rico, what year did they start playing the music.

I am asking Jaime Bauzá, the former manager of Mix, when that happened... he is on messenger, but appears to be occupied. Ah, he answered. He says that it was late 99 or early 2000.

Before Mix, the owner, Pichín Román, did 100% reggaetón videos in pay for play on his San Juan UHF TV channel 18 starting about 90 or 91. That is what propelled reggaeton into prominence on the Island, in my opionion... Mix just reeinforced it.
