FCC records indicate Sinclair has filed to sell WVTV (and small market stations in Missouri and Illinois) to Rincon Broadcasting. Rincon appears to be connected to Todd Parkin. The name rings a bell, but I can’t place it.
 
If it sounds familiar this might be why. Rincon Broadcasting Group owned by former Bally Sports Networks executive Todd Parkin

...it's also the same Todd Parkin who operated as a shell owner for New Vision Television between 2007 and 2013 (when LIN bought New Vision). Unless he's intent on flipping these stations, he badly overpaid.
