WVUD Live overnight?

Recently, for whatever reason, I have been listening to WVUD for ten or so minutes as I start for work around 4:20am. Notice that the station sounds pretty much pc operated. Is it automated like most of the commercial stations?

Does anyone in Delaware do live overnight any more?

WVUD has its weekday overnight shift split into two halves (1-3:30am and 3:30-6am). Generally, the station has a live DJ from 1-3:30 but goes to the computer from 3:30 until whenever the morning DJ arrives (5:30 or 6am). On weekends, The Heavy Metal Show (Ruffage) runs until 1am on Saturday into Sunday and the Ambient Show (Ambient Delights) runs until 2am on Sunday into Monday. There is also a 1-3am show on Saturday night but that is a temporary arrangement as the DJ will be leaving soon.
